1. Buy ONE gift log.

2. Start early.
Emily Post says you have three months after receiving a gift to write the note, but why wait? Since most couples receive gifts prior to the wedding, make it a habit to sit down with your gift log and knock out those thank you notes as gifts arrive. You'll thank yourself after the big day.
