Real Ceremonies: Christie and Ray

Milkshakes instead of wedding cake? Yes, please. Ceremony App couple Christie and Ray made sure their big day was easy and memorable for guests by hosting everything in one place and spicing up traditions.

These two Long Island, NY residents met on Match.com and tied the knot in September 2017 at Port Washington's Harbor Links. When planning their wedding, they wanted to ensure everything was upbeat. And with a few personal touches and surprises, they pulled it off.

Christie and Ray were announced as Mr. and Mrs., to Talking Heads' "Burning Down the House". And in place of wedding cake, Black Tap Craft Burgers and Beer's food truck greeted guests outside with delicious chocolate chip cookie milkshakes. Plus, the couple added some DIY elements (like their gorgeous letter flower box and hand-chalked seating chart) to make everything extra special.

"My husband and I were so happy to use Ceremony. Going through the photos and videos the next day gave us so much perspective on things we didn’t see. We loved the ease of using the app and how accessible everything was to our friends and family." - Christie

Here are a few of our favorite shots.

Christie and Ray, cheers to serving the best wedding dessert ever, and to a lifetime of love and happiness.
