Real Ceremonies: Ashley + Wesley
When we heard wedding planner Ashley Silver Bourque of Nashville-based Silver Celebrations was getting married, we knew it would be epic. For her own big day, Ashley and husband Wesley (a musician) just wanted their guests to experience everything they loved—live music, a dash of boho chic, and lots of local flavor.
The "Happily Ever Aftour", as they so appropriately named their celebration, was held at Allenbrooke Farms, just south of Nashville. Decor was curated entirely by Ashley, who brought together a rich palette of yellows, blue-grays and greens (note the gorgeous bouquets from Cottonwood Floral).
"[With Ceremony], it's so convenient for everyone to share photos photographers may have missed. As a planner, I know this is so important, because there are not only behind-the-scenes photos, but there are also so many angles of a shot that you might end up with some fun new favorites. Plus the app is super easy to use!"
Wesley surprised the bride with a 20-minute 90s rap medley. A string trio and a Beatles cover band kept the music theme going strong. Dulce Desserts delivered a perfectly rustic but glamorous cake (hello, edible gold!). And guests received locally roasted coffee beans from Osa Coffee as favors.
It was hard to pick favorites, but here are a few of the shots we loved.
