The Ultimate Groomsman Gift Guide

The monogrammed money clip. The sterling silver flask. The cuff links. Blah, blah, blah.

Feel like the typical groomsman gifts just aren't suited for all of your pals? These days, there are unique and affordable options for every personality, so you don't have to get locked in to just one idea.

We came up with five different personas and matched them with the perfect gifts. So, go ahead. Celebrate the individual. They won't forget you did.

The Well Groomed

If you haven't heard of Dollar Shave Club, it's a monthly subscription-based service that provides quality men's grooming products and replacement blades. What we love about this particular company, is that you can gift items for as little as $5 (a starter kit) and as much as $140 (an Executive gift set plus a one-year subscription). If your dudes love a clean shave, this is an easy way to say thanks.

Ensure your groomsmen's shoes are shining bright on your big day by gifting these uber-nice, environmentally friendly, and completely vegan shoe care products. Christophe Pourny's handmade kit includes shoe cream, serum, tonic, two buffing cloths and a cool reusable wooden crate.

The Outdoorsman

For your practical, DIY buddies, the Gentlemen's Hardware 11-In-1 Credit Card Tool is the perfect way to say "I love you, man." At just $15, you can't beat this well-designed set that includes a can opener, knife blade, screwdriver, ruler, bottle opener, saw blade and more. In fact, the same brand offers three other products in a similar price range if you want a little variety (a manicure set, a fish pocket knife, and pocket pliers). Our only word of advice is to ship these babies directly to your groomsmen--these sharp tools likely won't make it past airport security.

While Yeti products were made with the outdoorsman in mind, you don't actually have to be one to enjoy them. The Rambler series includes a range of indestructible temperature-controlled drinkware--from the $20 10 oz Lowball to the $129 Gallon Jug--available in a variety of colors. If you're into customizing (initials, sports teams, etc.), check out the Yeti Custom Shop.

The Cocktail Aficionado

With three deliciously complex flavors to choose from (Watermelon Cucumber Margarita with Clover Honey and Thyme, Blood Orange-Ginger Old Fashioned, and Peach Cosmopolitan with Benedictine Inspired Herbs and Artisanal Bitters), you'll set your pals up with the ultimate mixing trump card. Herb & Lou's ice cube sets are $15.99 each and come with 12 individually packaged and infused cubes.

Make the plane ride home a little more enjoyable with Cocktail Kits To Go travel sets. At just $14.95, you can load your friends up with several to try or multiples of their favorites. The Old Fashioned, Absinthe Louche, Dirty Martini and Champagne Cocktail kits all come with quality mixing ingredients, plus instructions on how to create the perfect drink.

The Brewmaster

For something a little different than your basic homebrew starter system, check out this Ginger Beer Making Kit. Hand-assembled by the Belshee's of Nevada, this kit includes everything you need for the perfect one-gallon batch of Ginger Beer ( a 1 gal glass fermentation jug, all of the ingredients like ginger root and lemon peel, gluten-free brewing yeast, an embroidered mesh brew bag, and more). For $69, it's a great deal, and you can add two Moscow Mule copper mugs for $35.

We know. We know. There are plenty of craft beer apps that allow you to keep track of your sips. But they're not as fun as this 99 Bottles of Craft Beer on the Wall scratch-off chart from Pop Chart Lab. This hand-illustrated 18x24 poster is just $35, so we love the idea of pairing it with one of the 99 brews for your bros.

The Music Connoisseur

Whether your guys prefer to sing in the shower or take their music poolside, the Wonderboom Blue Tooth speaker is one of the best buys on the portable speaker market. With a big, crisp sound, the $89 Wonderboom floats, has a 10-hour battery life, and comes in five different color combos. As groomsmen gifts go, it's a guaranteed hit.

For the vinyl collector, this is the gift that keeps on giving. There are several monthly vinyl subscription options out there, but Turntable Kitchen's Sounds Delicious Project has the best price range--from one month for $25 up to a year for $300. Plus, each release is a 12" exclusive limited edition, so only fellow Sounds Delicious members have them on hand. Way to make a guy feel special!
