Real Ceremonies: Ellie and Josh

For Ellie and Josh, their ideal wedding was a rustic music lover's dream. And that's exactly what they created. DIY touches plus a relaxed vibe led to one beautiful ceremony and reception.

The UK couple first met at Lancaster University, where they lived in the same student halls. Eight years later, they tied the knot at the historic Waltham Church in Grimsby (its tower base dates back to 1200 A.D.!) and partied with guests at Hall Farm Hotel in Ashby cum Fenby (a small village nestled in Lincolnshire).

"[Ceremony is] easy to use and provides good quality images. Having reviewed the other wedding photography apps before, I went ahead with this one. I thought Ceremony was by far the best value and it doesn't sell your photos as some of them do." - Ellie

The big day came together with all hands on deck. The bride made the individual place cards, a seating chart, and invitations. The mother of the groom sourced a vintage guitar case for cards and set up a fun DIY photo booth, family members helped create soft, textural wildflower table arrangements, and the chief bridesmaid's aunt made a gorgeous four-tiered naked cake from scratch.

Here are just a few of our favorite shots.

Ellie and Josh, congratulations and we wish you many happy years ahead!
